The Organizers

Bangladesh Clinical Psychology Society (BCPS). The society is the voice of clinical psychology in Bangladesh. It aims to promote and advance mental health through improved psychosocial well being and scientific knowledge. The society supports research, education and professional training, and promotes the highest standards of effective, efficient and ethical practice of its members. BCPS endeavours to ensure that psychological aspects are considered by the policymakers in different national emergent issues.

The Department of Clinical Psychology, University of Dhaka. Established in 1997, the Department of Clinical Psychology at the University of Dhaka is the pioneer in introducing postgraduate professional training in clinical psychology in Bangladesh. The course curriculum is designed to develop theoretical, research and clinical competencies of the trainees. It offers MS, MPhil and PhD degree in clinical psychology. The department is actively engaged in teaching, research, and service delivery to the community.
